Weekend betting tips: Four bets that could make you a fortune

Punchestown is coming to an end, but there's still plenty of sporting action you can have a flutter on this weekend.

The Kildare venue has provided plenty of thrills and spills all week and there's no doubt more to come.

There's also Premier League and rugby action, while the GAA Championship kicks off.

Here's our best bets:

Ten Sovereigns 3.35pm Newmarket Saturday 7/2

Aidan O'Brien is aiming for his tenth 2000 Guineas win on Saturday and once again has a strong team.

The Ballydoyle supremo runs Magna Grecia and Ten Sovereigns and preference is for the latter who is undefeated.

All of those successes came over six furlongs, but O'Brien says "nothing would suggest he wouldn't get a mile".

Fakir D'oudairies 4.25pm Punchestown Saturday 11/4

Fakir D'oudairies can land his first Grade One by taking the AES Champion Four Year Old Hurdle.

Fourth in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle, that form was well boosted by Klassical Dream's win earlier in the week.

Fakir D'oudairies then went on to finish  a close second to Triumph winner Pentland Hills at Aintree and this looks a good opportunity for him to win.

Liverpool -1 handicap v Newcastle 7.45pm Saturday EVS

Liverpool thrashed Newcastle 4-0 at Anfield earlier in the season and I think they will win by a few goals again here.

Newcastle have little to play for and the Reds will be looking for a reaction after their 3-0 defeat to Barcelona.

Back them to win by at least two goals.

Skitter Scatter 3.35pm Newmarket Sunday 5/1

I strongly fancy Skitter Skatter to do the business in the big race at Newmarket on Sunday.

Qabala is deservedly favourite after her emphatic win over seven furlongs here last month, but Skitter Skatter improved with every run last season and landed the Group 1 Moyglare Stud Stakes when last seen.

John Oxx takes over training duties from Patrick Prendergast and this Scat Daddy filly can fire the legendary Sea The Stars trainer back into the big time.
