Weekend betting tips: Four bets that could make you a fortune

We have a massive weekend of sporting action coming up.

Ireland face the All Blacks in the quarter-finals of the Rugby World Cup on Saturday morning to get the ball rolling before the Premier League returns after the international break.

Manchester United v Liverpool is obviously the standout tie of the weekend, but there's plenty of other decent games taking place too.

It's also Champions Day at Ascot on Saturday, with five Group 1 contests taking place and there's a tonne of GAA club matches on around the country.

Here's our best bets:

Advertise looks the horse to beat in the Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes - the opening race on the card at Ascot on Saturday.

Martyn Meade's star has been a revelation since returning to six furlongs after the 2000 Guineas and another bold bid looks very likely here.

The three-year-old has won two Group Ones in the Commonwealth Cup and Larc Prix Maurice de Gheest this season and finished second to Ten Sovereigns in the July Cup in between. He looks impossible to oppose.

Swansea to beat Barnsley 3pm Saturday 5/6

Swansea are flying high in the Championship and are just one point off the top of the table.

They suffered a surprising defeat to Stoke when last in action, but look a good bet away to second from bottom Barnsley on Saturday.

The Swans are unbeaten on the road in the league so far and 5/6 looks a decent price.

Tottenham to beat Watford 3pm Saturday 2/5

Spurs suffered two shocking defeats before the international break - losing 7-2 to Bayern Munich before going down 3-0 to Brighton.

They have recorded just one win from their last six games in all competitions, but face a Watford team also in a poor run of form.

The Hornets are the only club in the Premier League yet to record a win this season and its hard to see that changing here.

Liverpool -1 handicap v Manchester United 4.30pm Sunday 15/8

From the only club without a win to the only club with wins from all of their league games to date - Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp's men are eight points clear at the top of the table and will head to Old Trafford fully confident of putting a few past a Manchester United side who are 15 points behind them.

It's hard to see past Liverpool and a price of almost 2/1 for the -1 handicap looks far too good to ignore.
