Weekend betting tips: Four bets that could make you a fortune

It's Irish Derby weekend and the Curragh is set to host one of the best weekend's racing of the year.

Aidan O'Brien as always has a very strong hand in the big race and he should go close to winning it for an amazing 13th time.

There's also loads of GAA action and a massive game in the League of Ireland as leaders Dundalk travel to Tallaght to face Shamrock Rovers.

Here's our best bets:

Siskin 4.40pm Curragh Saturday

Siskin has defeated a number of Aidan O'Brien runners in his two runs to date and he looks set to face more again here on Satuday.

But there's plenty to like about both his runs, including his most recent over course and distance.

Monarch of Egypt could be anything for O'Brien having won his debut at Naas, but preference is for Siskin.

Anthony Van Dyck won the Epsom Derby earlier in the month despite running into traffic problems during the race.

I see no reason why he can't complete the Derby double here - an achievement Aidan O'Brien has already accomplished with four other horses.

11/10 is a short price, especially as Madhmoon and Broome weren't to far behind him at Epsom, but I fully expect Anthony Van Dyck to be successful again.

Kildare +3 handicap v Tyrone 5pm Saturday 10/11

The Lilywhites are very difficult to beat at Newbridge and should give Tyrone a really good game on Saturday evening.

Kildare defeated Mayo after the infamous 'Newbridge or Nowhere' campaign last year and will fancy their chances of taking another big scalp here.

Back the home side on the +3 handicap.

Kilkenny to beat Wexford 4pm Sunday 8/15

Kilkenny were solid in the round robin stage and look in a good position to win the Leinster crown once again on Sunday.

The Cats and Wexford played out a draw in the final game of the round robin stage, but that was at Innovate Wexford Park.

On Croke Park's big open pitch, I fancy Brian Cody's men to win the Bob O'Keeffe Cup for the 16th time.
