Week 9 snap counts and percentages: Tampa Bay at Seattle

The Seattle Seahawks narrowly escaped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home Week 9, needing overtime to achieve the 40-34 victory.

With just seconds left on the clock in regulation, Seahawks kicker Jason Myers missed the potential game-winning field goal from 40 yards.

Russell Wilson and company rallied in the only possession of overtime to get the job done.

Despite a nail-biting afternoon, coach Pete Carroll was reveling in the win.

“Well, that was a really cool football game,” Carroll said postgame. “It was hard and it was a challenge throughout the game, because we weren’t ahead for a long time, to just stay in it and keep banging and keep believing that we could do things right long enough to win a football game. That lesson took us all the way to regulation. A great drive to get down there, get the field goal set up and kick it and we’ll make it, and then we got to go flip a coin and do it again.”

The win was a somewhat disorganized effort, but Seattle emerged victorious to advance to 7-2 on the season with the division-rival 49ers scheduled for next Monday night.

Here’s a look at the snap counts and percentages from both the Seahawks and Buccaneers in Week 9.
