When the Chicago Bears (3-3) and Los Angeles Chargers (2-5) meet Sunday at Soldier Field, it’ll be a battle between two struggling teams both desperate for a win to get them on track.
Despite Chicago’s offensive woes — and defensive concerns — this seems to be a game that the Bears should win.
And it seems the experts agree as 72 percent of experts polled believe the Bears will beat the Chargers on Sunday, according to NFL Pick Watch.
The Bears offense has come under a lot of fire this week, particularly quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, and rightfully so. They can’t run the ball, they can’t pass the ball and they can’t seem to find any rhythm.
Then there’s Chicago’s defense, which has looked uncharacteristically unlike their early-season selves in the past two losses. They’ve allowed back-to-back 100-yard rushers in Josh Jacobs and Latavius Murray after being one of the better run defenses in the league.
Can the Bears finally pull themselves out a funk and snap a two-game losing streak? Or will it be a repeat performance that’ll send the Bears spinning out of control?
