Week 7 College Basketball Rankings: San Diego State Moves Up In AP Poll

The undefeated Aztecs climb the polls.
San Diego State is just one of three undefeated teams this year alongside No. 8 Auburn and unranked Liberty. The Aztecs have been on a tear all year and this past week they earned a quality win over Utah who happened to defeat then-No. 6 Kentucky. So, the 80-52 neutral-court victory over the Utes carried some weight.
The 12-0 Aztecs moved up again in the poll and are sitting at No. 15 with one more non-conference game to go as they host Cal Poly on Dec. 28.
Utah State is the only other Mountain West team getting consideration with 36 points in the poll.
In other rankings, the NET really likes San Diego State.
