Week 6 NFL TV schedule and game maps

There are four late games this week which is much better than the two we had last week — but still isn’t good enough. The most interesting games take place earlier in the day. I am sure Jim Nantz and Tony Romo would prefer to be announcing the Texans-Chiefs game. Instead, they are stuck with the Cowboys-Jets because the NFL needs those teams in the primetime spots since they garner huge ratings. There’s no Joe Buck and Troy Aikman again. They get the weekend off because they’ll announce the Thursday Night Football game which features the Giants and Patriots. So what are the options where you live? Take a look. Thanks to 506Sports.com, per usual.

Fox Single Game (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT and 4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT)

Philadelphia @ Minnesota Kenny Albert, Charles Davis
Seattle @ Cleveland Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston
Washington @ Miami Sam Rosen, Ronde Barber
San Francisco @ LA Rams (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT) Dick Stockton, Mark Schlereth
Atlanta @ Arizona (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT) Thom Brennaman, Chris Spielman
The country is split between the Eagles-Vikings and the Seahawks-Browns. We should pray for the small part of the country that has to suffer through Redskins-Dolphins. The afternoon matchup is very interesting as two very good NFC West teams face off.

CBS Early Game (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT)

Houston @ Kansas City Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts
New Orleans @ Jacksonville Greg Gumbel, Trent Green
Cincinnati @ Baltimore Kevin Harlan, Rich Gannon
No game due to NFL Blackout rules

The Houston-Kansas City game is very interesting. Neither team’s defense will be able to stop the other’s offense. The Texans aren’t built in a way to beat the Chiefs. They don’t grind out the game. They aren’t going to make things physical. The Chiefs defense can’t stop much either. CBS makes out either way because the New Orleans-Jacksonville game will be intriguing as well.

CBS Late Game (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT)

Source: 506Sports.com

Dallas @ NY Jets Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

Tennessee @ Denver Andrew Catalon, James Lofton

No game due to NFL Blackout rules

These games aren’t exactly exciting, but the Cowboys-Jets game should do well in ratings because of market sizes and team following. Most of the country gets that game so we better like it. Arizona will be blacked out because their game will air on Fox in the afternoon slot. It’s not a great game.
