The Cleveland Browns (2-3) have officially been dominated by the San Francisco 49ers (4-0) on nationally televised Monday Night Football to a tune of 31-3. That’s right, you read that correctly; the high powered Madden-esque Cleveland offense only mustered three points and the vaunted defense allowed an embarrassing 31 points. Finding a player of the game was a tough task, but he’s out there.
Jamie Gillan, a.k.a. The Scottish Hammer is still continuing to impress as he booted seven punts for a strong average of 56.7 yards per punt. One of those puppies went for 71 yards and four of the seven punts landed inside the 20. It is safe to say five weeks into the season that Gillan is an elite weapon in the battle for field position. I only wish he didn’t have seven punts.
