Recap: (Erik) If this game is any indication of what the Mountain was slate has in store for us, this is going to be an incredible season. The Broncos were able to hold off the Air Force upset bid by putting together a great second half. Although they gave up their first points in the 2nd half on the year, Boise State was able to get three touchdowns (with extra point blocked) to get the 11 point victory and extend the win streak to three against the Falcons.

The offensive line was able to give Hank Bachmeier some better protection (meaning he wasn’t hit 16 times in the first half) and he was able to put up 263 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. After struggling for the first three quarters, the running game was able to be efficient enough to eat up some clock in the fourth, while Robert Mahone found the end zone twice to put the game away. It was a great victory for the Broncos and they are continuing to improve getting into their conference schedule.
