Week 3 caused some movement

Week 1 to Week 2 saw a lot of results that changed the minds of our voters this week in the power poll. Boise State’s 14-7 over Marshall caused some voters to drop the Broncos from their top spot in their poll.

There are now three total teams earning a first-place vote with Utah State and Hawaii joining the Broncos at the top of the poll.

The biggest drop was Nevada who was thumped by Oregon, 77-6. The Wolf Pack were No. 2 last week but then plummeted all the way to the eighth spot.

Expect these to rankings to have some movement for the next two weeks and there are plenty of chances for teams to make a case to be the best.

We also are posting a google doc for readers of the website to chime in and we will compare how the results compare. So, look for that on our twitter account each Sunday.

Basically, the first few weeks of power ranking polls will look a bit wonky on a ballot by ballot basis. Here are a few of our writers who made their poll public.
