Week 2 NFL picks: Who are the experts picking in Bears vs. Broncos?

The Chicago Bears head into Sunday with a little more motivation to secure their first win of the season against the Denver Broncos.

Despite Chicago’s rough start to the season, experts haven’t lost faith. At least, they have more faith in the Bears than the Broncos, as an overwhelming 74 percent of experts believe the Bears will win, according to NFL Pick Watch.

Chicago’s dominant defense is no doubt the confidence boost that experts are looking at when picking the Bears. This unit held Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to 10 points and kept their own offense within a score of tying the game.

While confidence remains high with the Bears defense, the same can’t be said with the offense, which stumbled through the first regular-season game in Matt Nagy’s second year.

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky struggled mightily in his first outing of the season, although he didn’t receive much help in the form of  play calling or pass protection.

This Bears offense needs a big game to instill any sort of confidence that they can do enough to help this team make a playoff run.

Chicago will face stud pass rushers Von Miller and Bradley Chubb, but the Raiders provided the perfect game plan for how to exploit the Broncos defense.

With 10 days in between the season opener and this Week 2 contest, the Bears are sure to come out determined to redeem themselves.
