A two-team race?
There are a few changes this week in the latest power poll and that makes sense as we are entering Week 10 of Mountain West play. With Utah State’s loss to Air Force they lost all of their first-place votes from last week and they went to a combination of Boise State and San Diego State.
The top two teams are the Aztecs and Broncos and Air Force is still sitting at No. 3 but securing more votes than last week after its win over the Falcons.
The movement that did occur saw Wyoming and Hawaii move up one spot to fifth and sixth with Utah State dropping to No. 6. There are some chances for teams to make a move in the next few weeks since Hawaii still has to play San Diego State and Boise State still has to play Wyoming and Utah State.
This next week may see a similar poll but the week after there could be some major changes.
