NFL football is finally back in full force this Sunday. Unfortunately, it’s not really a full slate of games because kickoff weekend wants to flood our minds with football. We have the Thursday Night Football game between the Packers and the Bears. Sunday Night Football kicks off with the Steelers visiting the Patriots. We end the week with two Monday Night Football games. The first is the Saints and the against the Texans in New Orleans followed by Denver traveling to Oakland to open the season. We still get those Sunday games and we get them for 17 weeks. Here are the television maps for Week 1 of the regular season. Welcome back. Thanks to 506Sports.com, per usual.
CBS Single Game (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT and 4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT)

CBS sends their top crew to Cleveland for the Browns opener. That makes sense this is the most hype the Browns have had coming into a season in years. A good portion of the country will see Kansas City v. Jacksonville which isn’t a bad consolation prize.
Fox Early Game (1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT
█ No game due to NFL Blackout Rules
Most of the heavily populated parts of the country get an NFC East battle that should be over quickly unless the Eagles really struggle or a challenging first game for the 2018 NFC champion as they travel east for an early game.
Late Game (4:00 p.m. ET / 1:00 p.m. PT)

█ Detroit @ Arizona: Dick Stockton, Mark Schlereth
Unless you live in a bay area — San Francisco or Tampa — or live in Detroit or Arizona, you’re getting the Cowboys against the Giants. Just the way the NFL likes it. Those two teams always draw high ratings even when they are bad.
