Week 1 Browns MVP: Odell Beckham Jr.

Because someone had to win the award…

The Cleveland Browns got curb-stomped in what was supposed to be the start of a magical and spectacular season. The Tennessee Titans cruised to a 43-13 win over our disappointing Cleveland Browns. There is not a lot to be proud of as both the offense and defense looked pathetic, but Odell Beckham did not disappoint in his Cleveland debut. The prized off-season acquisition snagged seven passes for 71 yards and would have likely had an even more explosive day had he not been mugged on a consistent basis.

Beckham was mostly matched up with Malcolm Butler and Beckham worked him all day, which should be a good indication that he is going to have a great season. Despite the blowout, Beckham still maintained his high energy. He wasted no effort; Beckham was even a quality blocker when asked.

I would like to nominate Greg Robinson as the MVP runner-up considering he actually got to leave this embarrassing mess with his stupid lack of composure.
