EasyJet, TUI and British Airways cancel flights after country bans all UK travellers

EasyJet has now cancelled all flights to and from the Morocco (Getty Images)

All flights from the UK to Morocco have been banned due to soaring Covid rates in the UK.

The travel restriction sent airlines scrambling to cancel flights and return passengers before the ban begins.

Morocco also banned incoming flights from Germany and the Netherlands.

DWP could pay PIP claimants up to £15,000 in back payments after new ruling

The Department for Work and Pensions is searching for people who could be due money dating as far back as 2016.

Claimants who have been affected by Personal Independence Payment (PIP) process could be owed as much as £15,000.

Ayr explosion: 35 homes still sealed off by police as four houses to be demolished

People in Ayr still do not have access to 35 homes after the Monday night explosion in Ayr. The family of four who lived in the home that exploded are still in hospital.

Droves of families had to flee their homes and are still cut off from their properties.

South Ayrshire Council confirmed that four homes will have to be demolished.

Asda car park rammy as drunk Scots thug burst girlfriend's nose then chased taxi driver screaming 'you better run'

A court has heard how a 38-year-old man punched his girlfriend's nose before hitting a taxi driver with a headset and chasing him around a supermarket car park.

The Perth Sheriff Court was told how Mark Routledge chased the taxi driver around a petrol station while shouting: "You better run!"

Cops carry out security checks at Humza Yousaf's home and office following threats

Humza Yousaf revealed Police Scotland visited his home (PA)

Police carried out security checks on the home of SNP Health Secretary Humza Yousaf after he received a number of threats.

The Health Secretary said that police had told him to increase security measures in his home and office.

Speaking about the murder of Amess, Yousaf said: "It still rocks me to my very core, actually, when I think about Sir David's murder."
