The creative planner, who goes by the username @sisterofthebrides, uploaded a video to TikTok outlining her pearls of wedding day wisdom.
The entrance
When it comes to making an entrance, family members could help by lending their support.
She said: "Make sure you delegate two cousins to open and close doors after each entrance. This makes it feel super smooth and organised."

The cake
It may not be something you'd immediately think of in the midst of all the excitement, but making sure you have a "proper knife to cut the cake" is apparently absolutely crucial, helping you to avoid any potential mess.
Serving food
If you've opted for buffet-style catering, then it's apparently best to get people to go up for a plate table by table rather than letting everyone descend en masse.
Acknowledging people may well be getting hungry at this point, she added: "I've seen it done and it has been successful. So try it out, because it does make things really smooth."
Making sure to get a great MC
The wedding planner cautioned against underestimating the role of a great MC, who she says can help ensure the event runs "super smooth."
She added that this was particularly true if "things aren't going to plan, which tends to happen a lot more than you'd think."
