The couple Robert, from Larkhall, works as an electrical engineer in Dubai. Bride Caitlin, from Hamilton, is a music teacher in Dubai.
When they met Robert and Caitlin met through their part-time jobs in Hamilton, but only started speaking when they both moved to Aberdeen eight years ago for work and university.
The wedding The ceremony was held at St Mary’s Parish on July 12.
Their reception, at Mar Hall Golf and Spa Resort, was attended by over 150 family and friends.
Honeymoon The newlyweds travelled to Kuramathi Island in the Maldives for two weeks on their honeymoon.
Bridal party Bridesmaids were Charlotte Aitchison, Amy Papiransky, Heather Bennie, Andrea Girvan and Lauren Tait; flower girls were Niamh McCann and Kali Davidson; pageboy was Patrick McCann; best men were Neale Kelly and Craig Davidson; and ushers were Fraser Hamilton, Paul Crichton and Stephen Reilly.
