The couple
Michelle works as a telecommunications officer with Virgin Media, while Mark is an administrator for BMW in Glasgow; both are from Airdrie.
When they met
Mark and Michelle first met when Mark came to decorate Michelle’s house more than four years ago and they have been inseparable ever since.
The wedding
The ceremony took place at Airdrie registry office on July 17 followed by a wedding breakfast in the Tudor Hotel and reception in Airdrie working men’s social club; it was attended by more than 150 of their family, friends and guests to celebrate and dance the night away.
Attire
Michelle wore a beautiful handmade gown, while Mark wore a black dinner suit and bow tie from Slaters menswear in Glasgow.
Honeymoon
The newlyweds travelled to London, where they spent their time sightseeing and visiting the city’s many attractions.
Bridal party
Marie’s maid of honour was sister Marie Murray and bridesmaid was Mark’s daughter Abbie. Mark’s best woman was his aunt Carole Benson and page boys were Michelle’s sons James and Lewis Mercer.
