Wedding of the Week: Michael Gemmell and Kathryn Callander

The couple Kathryn, from Bellshill, works as an engineering officer with South Lanarkshire Council. Groom Michael, also from Bellshill, is a storeman with Lightbody’s.

When they met Michael and Kathryn met at Showcase Cinema in 2015.

The wedding The ceremony was held at Low Parks Museum, Hamilton, on October 5, 2018. Their reception, at Castle Rooms, Uddingston, was attended by 80 family and friends.

Honeymoon The newlyweds travelled to Tenerife for their honeymoon.

Bridal party Bridesmaids were Sarah and Jenny the bride’s sisters; flower girls were Leah and Zara; pageboy was Rhys; best man was Darren and the usher was Jason, both of whom are the groom’s brothers.

Attire The bride wore Vera Wang by David’s Bridal, while Michael wore a grey and pink suit from Debenhams.
