Wedding guest gives husband concussion trying to recreate THAT Dirty Dancing lift

A wedding took a turn for the worst when a couple attempted the iconic Dirty Dancing lift - and ended up on their backsides concussed after crashing into a table.

To make matters worse, the famous film's song wasn't even playing when they went for it on the dancefloor.

A video of the pair causing a scene was posted on social media earlier this year.

US talk show host Jimmy Fallon asked viewers to send him their funniest wedding moments - and one guest didn't mind being shamed.

Morgan Murray responded to his plea and she and her husband soon went viral.

The woman from Tennessee wrote: "My husband and I tried to do the Dirty Dancing move at his brother's wedding.

"Turns out we should have left it to Patrick Swayze... I ended up bursting my mouth open and he had a concussion."

But where doe this video rank for cringe wedding moments?

Back in August, a groom got so drunk on his wedding day he had to be spoon-fed by his unimpressed mother-in-law.

The sozzled newlywed from Scotland could barely keep his head up or eyes open as he nibbles on some salmon - with the help of his blushing bride's mum who lifts a plate up and guides the food into his mouth.

At one point even some salmon dangles out his mouth and his new family member has to shove it in as the speeches are taking place.

When she realises she is being filmed she gives a very sarcastic thumbs up to the camera.
