When it comes to weddings, there's one big rule guests should follow and it's really simple - don't wear white.
The only person you should see in a white dress on the big day is the bride - which is why a photo of a guest has recently sparked heated conversation online.
Shared to Reddit, a snap of an anonymous woman attending a wedding went viral as many people wrongly assumed she was the bride.
This is due to the stunning white silky dress she can be seen wearing in the picture.
The image was captioned: "Found this whilst looking at a hashtag for a wedding venue…. That is not the bride."

The poster goes on to claim that they knew she wasn't the bride, as she'd also posted images with the happy couple and also thanked them for the invite in her caption.
People were shocked to find out she wasn't the bride as she looked so stunning in the white dress.

Many were quick to comment on how 'amazing' the outfit was, with some inquiring as to where they could get it from for themselves.
One person said: "Wtf! I thought this was a post in r/weddingdress and was gonna comment 'that looks amazing'."
Another wrote: "Oof. That would be a great wedding dress though."
A third replied: "Can anyone tell me where her dress is from?"
Someone else said: "I have the same/very similar dress but in a mint colour! I wore it to a schools ball (prom for Americans basically). Couldn’t imagine wearing it to a wedding though?"
A different user added: "Wearing a white/cream dress of any style is a taboo at weddings unless the bride specifically asks close female family members to wear white (it's a Southern thing, I believe). You just don't do it! No matter how well the dress looks on you!"
