A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued across parts of Perth and Kinross this weekend.
The warning covers most of the region south of Scone and will last from 10am on Friday, August 6 to 9am on Saturday, August 7.
As well as affecting Perth, other settlements within the warning area include Kinross and Auchterarder.
The Met Office is warning there is a “small chance” that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly while buildings could be damaged by floodwater.
Spray and sudden flooding could make driving conditions difficult and may lead to road closures in some placed.
Travellers are also being told to be aware of the possibility of flooding or lightening strikes causing delays to bus or train services.
The warning comes just less than a year after thunderstorms led to widespread flooding and transport chaos in Perth and Kinross.
