Weather warning for rain remains in place for Wales and North West

Rain may cause some disruption this week with the Met Office putting a weather warning in place for Monday (Sept 30) and Tuesday (Oct 1).

Wales and the North West of England will be the most affected, with the worst of the rain narrowly missing Bristol.

Those travelling to South Wales on Monday however, have been told to expect some flooding and travel disruption.

In Bristol we can expect cloud and rain, heavy at times, which will spread northeastwards across all parts during Monday. The rain will be accompanied by strengthening winds but should clear during the evening.

Later in the week cloud and rain slowly clear on Tuesday. After a chilly start, Wednesday will be dry with sunny spells. After a bright start, rain and strong winds may arrive later Thursday.
