Weather warning for fog issued across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire

A yellow weather warning for fog has been issued for the city and county.

The Met Office has warned heavy fog will form overnight on Tuesday, December 17 from 7pm and is expected to last until 1pm on Wednesday, December 18.

, as temperatures plummet through the night and into the early hours.

Slower journey times for motorists as well as delays to bus and train services are possible.

There is also a chance of delays or cancellations to flights with the fog warning covering the majority of central England.
