Weather Tomorrow June 26: IMD warns of heavy rain in Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Bengal and Odisha; thunderstorm warning for Rajasthan, heatwave in East Uttar Pradesh

Weather Tomorrow June 26: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a mix of rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and heatwave conditions across different parts of the country on June 26, Friday, with several states expected to witness changing weather patterns as monsoon activity continues to strengthen.

While residents of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana and Kerala are likely to see rain-related activity, some parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand may continue to experience heatwave conditions.

Delhi, Haryana and Punjab Weather Tomorrow

According to the IMD, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab are likely to experience isolated rainfall along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds.

Wind speeds may reach 40-50 kmph, gusting up to 60 kmph, bringing temporary relief from the prevailing heat. Localized showers are expected to continue across parts of the region through the weekend.

Reports also suggest that Delhi may continue to witness cloudy skies and intermittent rainfall activity as monsoon conditions gradually strengthen.

Rajasthan Weather Tomorrow

Residents of West Rajasthan and East Rajasthan should prepare for thunderstorms and strong winds on June 26.

The IMD has forecast:

  • Thunderstorms with lightning
  • Gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph
  • Possibility of thundersqualls in some areas
  • Localized rainfall activity

Duststorm activity has also been reported in parts of western Rajasthan during the ongoing weather system.

Uttar Pradesh Weather Tomorrow

Weather conditions will vary across Uttar Pradesh.

East Uttar Pradesh

  • Isolated rainfall likely
  • Heatwave conditions may continue in some pockets
  • Severe heatwave conditions remain a concern in certain districts

West Uttar Pradesh

  • Scattered rainfall expected
  • More rain activity likely toward the end of the month

Bihar and Jharkhand Weather Tomorrow

Bihar remains under a dual weather threat.

The IMD has forecast:

  • Heavy rainfall in some districts
  • Thunderstorms and lightning
  • Strong winds in isolated locations

At the same time, heatwave conditions may persist in parts of Bihar and Jharkhand.

Thundersquall activity with wind speeds reaching 50-60 kmph, gusting up to 70 kmph, is also possible in isolated areas.

West Bengal Weather Tomorrow

Weather officials have indicated that Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to continue receiving widespread rainfall.

In Kolkata and surrounding areas, cloudy skies and periodic rain are expected to continue over the coming days.

The IMD has warned of:

  • Heavy rainfall in northern districts
  • Thunderstorms and lightning
  • Gusty winds in some regions

Some areas of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal may also witness very heavy rainfall.

Odisha Weather Tomorrow

Odisha is likely to experience:

  • Scattered rainfall
  • Thunderstorms
  • Lightning activity
  • Gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph

Rainfall intensity is expected to increase further toward the end of June.

Madhya Pradesh Weather Tomorrow

Both East Madhya Pradesh and West Madhya Pradesh are expected to receive scattered rainfall.

The IMD has also forecast:

  • Thunderstorms
  • Lightning
  • Gusty winds
  • Isolated heavy rainfall in some districts

Several regions may experience changing weather conditions throughout the day.

Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat Weather Tomorrow

Konkan and Goa

Heavy rainfall is likely to continue, with some areas receiving intense monsoon showers.

Madhya Maharashtra

Rainfall activity is expected along with thunderstorms.

Gujarat

Scattered rainfall is likely across several districts as monsoon conditions remain active.

Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana Weather Tomorrow

Southern states are expected to remain under active monsoon influence.

Karnataka

  • Widespread rainfall likely
  • Strong surface winds possible
  • Heavy rain forecast in coastal areas

Kerala

  • Rainfall activity expected to intensify
  • Thunderstorms possible
  • Heavy rainfall likely in some districts

Telangana

  • Widespread rain forecast

Northeast India Weather Tomorrow

These states are likely to witness widespread rainfall on June 26:

  • Arunachal Pradesh
  • Assam
  • Meghalaya
  • Nagaland
  • Manipur
  • Mizoram
  • Tripura

Heavy rainfall warnings remain in place for several northeastern districts, with isolated areas likely to receive very heavy showers.

The overall weather pattern on June 26 indicates active monsoon conditions across large parts of India. While northern and eastern states may experience thunderstorms and gusty winds, southern and western regions are expected to continue receiving significant rainfall.
