Weather: Met Office forecast for Bristol for Thursday

Another chilly and drizzly day is in store for Bristol and the rest of Britain as a wet start gives way to patchy rain.

Thursday will be much the same as Wednesday, with overcast conditions and persistent drizzly rain at pretty much any time of the day.

The day will begin with heavy rain - from around 4am onwards, but this should die out by about 9am to be replaced by showers and light rain for the rest of the morning.

The afternoon will be slightly dryer, with a 50 per cent chance of rain from around 3pm into the evening. Thursday night will see things drying up a bit.

It will be cold, with temperatures climbing no higher than just 6degC and with a fairly constant northerly breeze, it will feel chilly - with a 'feels like' temperature of just 2 or 3degC.

The outlook for Friday is better, with things drying up and cloud thinning. It might even be a bit sunny at the weekend - although still cold.
