Weather in Leeds will see temperatures rise towards Easter weekend

The weather forecast for Leeds brings only good news for Leeds with temperatures expected to rise throughout the week.

The Weather Channel predicts that by Good Friday the mercury will have risen from 12C on Monday to 19C.

This is good news for anyone with big plans for the Easter weeked - which is also set to see warm weather.

By Saturday, Leeds will be experiencing highs of 21C with sunny spells and very little chance of rain.

Cloudy conditions are expected but after a bitter weekend, the rising mercury will be welcomed in the run-up to a four-day weekend for most.

The Met Office UK forecast for the weekend states: "Many places will be dry for Good Friday, with warm sunny spells.
