The warm weather is set to return next month in Leeds as predictions of soaring temperatures are expected for the beginning of the new month.
There are hopes of a July heatwave with higher temperatures predicted for this week and into the new month with much warmer weather to come.
It comes after a drizzly end to June, but it will be worth the wait as red hot temperatures reach as high as 30° across the UK in a heatwave that could top Spain.

It is expected that the North will be the first to heat up as the Yorkshire Dales and Leeds are expected to hit a high of 27C on the same day, which will be unusually higher than temperatures in the south.
The BBC's forecast for the first few weeks of July states: "Toward mid-July the pattern is likely to be rather changeable with mixed dry and warm spells and an increased chance of a brief heatwave.

"The extent of high-pressure influence in western and northern Europe is the main source of uncertainty for the forecast.
"This would be a very warm pattern for the UK with a potential for heatwaves.”
