Weather in Dublin today: UK hit with 'danger to life' and tornado WARNING as Met Eireann predicts changeable and unsettled conditions for Ireland

Tuesday will be mostly dry with some good sunshine for Dublin as temperatures remain in the high teens.

There will be a few isolated light showers throughout the day but nothing too severe according to Met Eireann.

The weather is set to be 'changeable and unsettled' this week with temperatures to drop to a little below normal.

Wednesday will have good dry intervals but there will be some further scattered showers also.

Temperatures will drop to as low as 9C with strong winds predicted throughout Ireland.

Thursday will be mostly dry with some bright spells and hazy sunshine.

However, the nighttime will be wet and windy with outbreaks of rain turning heavy in many areas.

Across the water, A 'danger to life' weather warning for heavy rain and floods is in place for parts of the UK this morning.

The Met Office issued the notice for the north of England on Monday evening and it will remain in place until at least 10am on Tuesday.

The forecaster says rain could lead to more flooding and cause travel disruption during the morning rush hour.

The yellow warning covers all of Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool.
