It looks like the summer is going to have a very quick end today as Met Eireann is predicting thundery downpours for Dublin and beyond.
Cloud will quickly build all morning as showers develop more widely across the country.
As the afternoon comes, there will be some heavy and thundery downpours with temperature highs of 21C expected too.
Coming into the night time, Met Eireann says: "the showers will become isolated later this evening, and overnight there will be long clear periods.
"Lows of 11 to 13 degrees. A few shallow fog patches will form as the breeze dies off."
As well as this, there are two weather warnings in place for Ireland on Tuesday morning.
A status yellow rainfall warning remains in place for Connacht until 6pm on Tuesday evening.
That warning is for "heavy or prolonged showers with the risk of thundery downpours could lead to rainfall accumulations of 25 to 40 mm over the period."
Also, a status yellow small craft warning is in place for the country too.
This means that "Southwest winds will reach force 6 during today on Irish Coastal Waters from Wicklow Head to Roches Point to Slyne Head."
Across the water the Met Office has issued a yellow 'danger to life' weather warning for thunderstorms as the UK braces for a deluge of rain.
The warning is in place for Scotland today and tomorrow with heavy showers forecast to batter the region.
The yellow warning is in place from 11am this morning until 10pm tonight.
Thunderstorms could bring some disruption with the possibility of spray and sudden flooding resulting in difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
