If you like rain, Met Eireann has good news for you - because Dublin is going to see a fair bit of it over the coming days.
Starting with today, the weather experts tell us we can expect a dry start, but clouds will hone in on the capital this afternoon and we could see the odd “light passing shower”.
They go on: "Temperatures will range between 10 and 12 °C and winds will be moderate to fresh, occasionally strong from an easterly direction.”
Tonight
Tonight will be generally rather cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle developing, according to Met.ie.
Lowest temperatures will be between 6 and 8 °C. Winds will be moderate to fresh from an easterly direction, decreasing moderate southeasterly later.
Tomorrow
It’s not looking good for trick or treaters, again, unless they're dressing up as ducks.
Here’s what Met Eireann say for Halloween: "It will stay mostly cloudy on Thursday with occasional outbreaks of rain, some heavy.
"A heavier spell of rain will develop in the evening. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 °C in moderate southeast winds veering southerly later."
National Outlook (from Met Eireann)
Here's what the national forecaster says of the weekend ahead:
Thursday night (Halloween)
There'll be showers on Thursday night widespread across the country with drier spells at times, the weather experts forecast. Lowest temperatures will range between 8 and 12 °C. Light to moderate southeast to south winds will become light variable later.
Friday
Friday will be cloudy with further showers or longer spells of rain. Winds will be light variable initially, becoming fresh westerly later.
There is a signal for a spell of heavy rain moving eastwards later on Friday night. Temperatures during the day will be about normal for the time of year, but with higher than usual temperatures across the south of the country.
Saturday
The unsettled showery weather continues through the weekend with a wet and potentially windy day on Saturday with further spells of rain or showers on Sunday.
It is expected there will be drier interludes also and it'll turn cold at night as skies clear with the possibility of frost.
Met Eireann add this: "There is a higher than usual level of uncertainty associated with the track of weather systems this weekend due to extensive, deep areas of low pressure active in mid Atlantic.
"Normal temperatures for this time of year range between 9 and 12 °C."
