Weather in Dublin: Met Eireann forecast warm, dry, sunny day ahead... but then things don't take a dramatic turn

It's groundhog day.... again.

The bright side is that we can expect to see those groundhogs queuing two metres apart outside ice cream parlours, because the weather in Dublin today is going to be even mightier than it was yesterday.

Sun worshippers, your table is ready.

Sunny and dry. That's what Met Eireann have on the menu for today. There's no a la carte - so just take what you're given and enjoy it.

Met Eireann's forecast for Tuesday in Dublin says this: "Dry and sunny today. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, but a bit cooler near the coast in a moderate easterly breeze."

Tonight is much the same minus the sun. And because the moon doesn't work the same way, the temperature will dip accordingly. Science is an amazing thing folks!

Wednesday

Tomorrow is also groundhog day, making the job of the Met Eireann team fairly easy.

They say this: "Tomorrow will be another dry and sunny day. Highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees, but again it will be cooler along the coast due to the light to moderate east to northeast breeze."

National Outlook

More of the same - lots of dryness and big helpings of sun-shiney days. Thursday, Friday and Saturday should all see temperatures as high as 19C, while the "current indications for Sunday are for dry and sunny".

As your mam would say, 'Get out there and enjoy it!'

But make sure you do so very responsibly - two metres folks! Keep up the good work.
