Weather forecasters predict 6 hours of snow in Mansfield tomorrow

Mansfield is set to be hit by six hours of snow tomorrow morning (February 27), according to the Met Office.

Forecasters say snow will start falling on the town at 5am and will continue until at least 11am.

Unlike some other parts of Nottinghamshire though the snow is unlikely to be heavy.

The forecast is much better for the rest of the day, although it is likely to be windier, with gusts of 33mph forecast.

At the moment no further snow is forecast for the rest of the week - although that could change.
