Weather forecast says this is when Leeds is at most risk of snow this weekend

Leeds could be set for snow this weekend - and early on Monday.

That's according to online weather forecaster Netweather.tv , which says Leeds is at risk of snowfall on Saturday night and Monday morning.

The site gives a 'snow risk' percentage as part of its forecasts.

And Monday has a more than 70 per cent chance of seeing some of the white stuff, it predicts.

On Saturday afternoon, between 3pm and 6pm, Leeds has a 42 per cent snow risk score, and between 9pm and midnight that rises to 63 per cent.

Sunday is 0 per cent scores across the board, but it all changes on Monday morning.

Between 6am and 9am, Netweather says there is a 72 per cent risk of snow in Leeds - just in time for the morning commute.

Somewhat strangely, the snow risk is set at zero per cent for the rest of Monday - so what do other forecasters have to say?

What the Met Office says

Looking at the Met Office forecast, it may not be time to grab your sledge just yet.

The Met Office says Leeds could see some snow on Friday, but it will be 'confined to hills.

It's outlook for Saturday to Monday is for heavy rain and blustery showers, and there is a yellow wind warning in place this weekend.

Monday is forecast to be less windy but showers are forecast.
