The Met Office has suggested there is a fair chance of light rain in Bristol today (August 7) until around noon.
Happily, though, the afternoon is likely to be dry and sunny, with a high temperature of 20 degrees.
But it's set to get blustery with gusts of wind up to 31mph expected in the early afternoon.
As for the rest of the UK, the Met Office forecasters reckon heavy and frequent showers might hit Northern Ireland, Scotland, northern England and the far south of England. Thunder might break out over parts, too.
The rest of the week looks set to be fairly wet as well, while a "very windy" Saturday is anticipated in the south of England.
