Weather forecast for St Pauls Carnival 2019 in Bristol according to Met Office and BBC

For those of you lucky enough to attend St Pauls Carnival there’ll be nothing but hopes of beaming sun rays and blue skies.

With it being unpredictable weather in the UK throughout the year, the uncertainty of the weather before a festival is always on the tip of our tongues.

The African-Caribbean festivities will return to Bristol this weekend after they made a comeback last year for their 50th anniversary.

With the procession being one of the most awaited events of the day, carnival-goers have been encouraged to wave to the procession as they perform. But, the celebrations don't end there with many after parties taking place including Lakota and the Malcolm X Centre.

St Paul's Carnival celebrations

On the morning of carnival, the weather will be a hot topic amongst carnival goers. The Met Office have predicted the day will start off with mild sunshine at 10am and then hit highs of 21C at 1pm.

At 10pm when the carnival will come to an end, it will still be warm with temperatures of 18°C, but cooler than before with a 10 per cent chance of rain throughout the day from 7am.

Meanwhile, BBC weather predicts highs of 22C with a 9-16 per cent chance of rain from 12noon-10pm.
