Weather forecast for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh World Cup match at Bristol County Ground

Rain is set to pour down during tomorrow's cricket World Cup clash between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The Weather Channel forecasts showers throughout Tuesday (June 11), with the two teams to face off at Bristol County Ground from 10am.

The match was delayed four hours on Friday, June 7 due to bad weather.

It was hoped the weather would hold out but the match was abandoned after a pitch inspection at around 3.30pm.

We've put together an hour by hour weather forecast for the match.

The Bristol downpours are expected to continue for most of the week and are only set to end on Friday afternoon. A brief respite should follow, but rain is predicted to return on Friday evening and Saturday.

Bangladesh kicked off the tournament with a win over South Africa, before losing narrowly to New Zealand and being beaten by England, but captain Mashrafe Mortaza says reaching the semi-finals is still possible.

He said: "At the moment, it looks to be very difficult. But again, I say it's possible. It's very much possible."
