Tonight, singer Lewis Capaldi will be taking to the stage at Liverpool's Croxteth Park but with a mixture of rain and sunshine this weekend what will the weather be like for the sold-out show?

Last month, The Hold Me While You Wait singer took to Twitter to share the news he would be heading to the city for a special one-off show for BBC Radio 1.

The show will see Capaldi perform his hugely successful debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, with a full live orchestra.

According to the Met Office,  today will mostly dry with sunny spells and temperatures across the city reaching a high of 24 °C.

During the evening, the Met Office is predicting things will turn cloudy but will stay dry which will no doubt please music fans.

Although it is worth keeping in mind the ground may still be muddy after last night's rain.

This evening's concert follows Lewis Capaldi's Glastonbury performance which saw him take to the festival's 'Other Stage' where he performed to thousands of fans.
