Weather forecast for Leeds on Tuesday as another dry day set for the city

Leeds is set for another overcast day on Tuesday with an early morning showers of rain.

The brief period of snow and freezing nights seems to have ended for the time being, although the brightest and milder of the weather is yet to hit the region again.

According to the Met Office's most recent forecast there is a 50 per cent chance of rain in Leeds between 6am and 8am, with the sun rising at 6.31am.

Overcast weather is predicted for the rest of the day with temperatures peaking at 12°C. The sun is scheduled to set at 7.49pm before some showers hit the region again in the evening from around 9pm.

Winds are expected to average at around 30mph and temperatures will dip to around 8°C at night time.

Across Yorkshire, the forecast is cloudy and windy, but drier, with patchy rain mostly confined to western hills. It's set to be brighter in the afternoon, before a band of rain moves southeast during the evening.
