Weather forecast for Leeds on Friday as city set to see cloud with some sunny spells

The weather across Leeds is expected to be cloudy on Friday, with showers expected to continue. Across the morning, the Met Office has predicted light showers with temperatures back down to below 21C across most of the day.

Although there will be a few sunny spells as well, as the sun is set to make an appearance in the evening.

The Met Office forecast for Leeds says: "Showers continue on Friday, although there will be a few sunny spells as well, sunshine becoming more widespread during the afternoon. Turning drier with skies turning clearer overnight. Maximum temperature 21 °C."

It will be a mostly dry day for Leeds with some spells of light rain. The city will wake to a cloudy morning from 6am, light rain is forecast at 9am and 10am before turning cloudy once again throughout the afternoon. Light showers are expected at 5pm.

It will turn cloudy for the rest of the evening with sunny intervals expected at 9pm until sunset at 9.10pm.

Maximum temperatures of 21C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Changeable weather with some sunny or clear spells but also cloudier intervals with some showers and outbreaks of rain. Some heavier bursts likely along with blustery winds. Temperatures near normal.
