Weather forecast for last weekend of outdoor-only drinking in Notts

This weekend will hopefully be the last you'll be forced to sit outside while enjoying a meal or drink at your favourite pub or restaurant.

From Monday, May 17, hospitality opens for indoor service.

Of course, if you choose to dine outside after Monday it will be your choice but you'll probably only want to pick an outside table if the sun is shining.

So, do you feel lucky? Will the sun be beating down for our last enforced outdoor drinking and dining session or will we need to pack a brolly?

Saturday is going to be a bit hit-and-miss according to the Met Office, which predicts the rain moving northeast overnight on Friday will break up to give showers on Saturday for Nottingham. All is not lost though, there will be some sunny spells.

Temperatures for Saturday, May 15, will reach a high of 13 degrees with a low of 6 degrees so while you may need an umbrella to combat those showers, you won't freeze.

Sunday looks more unpredictable according to the weather experts. The Met Office is expecting outbreaks of heavy and thundery showers but again there should be some sunny intervals so keep an eye out for those dark clouds if you manage to catch a sunny spell and venture outdoors.

Again temperatures aren't too bad with a high of 14 degrees and low of 8 degrees expected.

It's good news for hayfever sufferers with low pollen levels expected on both days.
