Weather forecast for India vs New Zealand Cricket World Cup match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham - Will it rain?

Cricket fans will be eagerly hoping for play today as India take on New Zealand in Nottingham.

Rain has blighted the tournament this week, with multiple matches being called off - including two in Bristol.

Yesterday saw a game take place at Taunton, with Australia edging out Pakistan in a topsy-turvy and entertaining contest.

But what about today's game?

The Met Office report that there is 80 per cent of rain at 10am in Nottingham, with temperatures of around 11 degrees.

With the game set to start at 10.30, it will likely be delayed, with a 60 per cent likelihood of rain at 11am.

However, by midday, there is just a 10 per cent chance of rain, which should mean there is eventually play in the contest.

The afternoon looks a little showery, with a 50 per cent chance of rain, but it should hold off for long enough to get some sort of game on.

However, fans will want to wrap up, with a maximum temperature of just 14 degrees coming around 4pm.
