Thunder and rain showers look set to continue across Greater Manchester today.
Wednesday’s forecast predicts scattered showers continuing across the region.
And at times they will be heavy and thundery, according to The Met Office.
The national weather service states on its website this morning: “A largely cloudy start with some scattered showers, locally heavy through the morning.
“Showers often heavy continuing into the afternoon, perhaps thundery at times with a few sunny spells between.
“Feeling cool with light winds. Maximum temperature 19 °C.”
The outlook for tonight is poor too.
Forecasters are predicting showers, which will be frequently heavy, continuing through the evening and into the night with an increasing breeze.
It will be a cool night with minimum temperatures of 8°C.
