Weather forecast for Glasgow this Christmas day

What better way to start the most wonderful time of the year than with a bit of sunshine?

The Met Office are predicting a dry day of weather throughout - albeit with a 20 per cent chance of rain in the evening - and sunny spells for the majority of the day.

And although there may be fog in the late afternoon, Glasgow has more or less landed itself the perfect Christmas Day.

With little wind, and temperatures expected to be between 3C and 6C this Wednesday, it's hopefully going to feel wonderfully festive inside and outside.

If you're travelling out and about later, however, take care on the roads - forecasters predict we could see freezing temperatures overnight and into Boxing Day.

Boxing Day

The frosty weather won't last long sadly, with the Met Office predicting we could be in for rain and gusts of wind in excess of 20mph in Glasgow. Top temperature of 7C.
