Weather forecast Dublin: As the All-Ireland hurling final is set to take place, what does the weather for the capital look like?

Summer has finally come to an end as heavy showers are set to lash Dublin.

While temperatures in Dublin will remain in the high teens as Met Eireann has forecasted the highs of 19C, the capital will see more rain than ever this week.

And if you're heading into Croke Park for the All-Ireland hurling final it'll be a good idea to carry a rain jacket with you.

Sunday will be breezy with showers expected all day, some being heavy.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: “There will be sunny intervals as well. Highest temperatures of 17C to 19C.”

Sunday night will see more clear spells with lowest temperatures of 9C to 10C.

Monday will start dry with good sunshine but not for long as the afternoon will see more showers.

Temperatures will range between 17C to 19C.

Monday night will start of largely dry with clear spells and temperatures of 9C to 12C.

More rain expected on Tuesday with temperatures as high as 20C.
