Spring officially began last week and it looks like the weather is taking a turn for the better.
Conditions are set to become drier and brighter with some sunny spells in the coming week.
However, there's still a risk of breeze, rain showers and even some overnight frost.
Temperatures dipped at the weekend but the North East could see highs of up to 12°C in the next few days.

Here's what the Met Office says:
Monday
"A drier day, with sunny spells.
"Breezy during the morning, however winds will ease later to give a rather warm feel in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 12 °C."
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
"Breezy but settled. On the cloudy side at times with the odd spot of rain, however probably becoming drier and brighter with time.
"Warm by day, but overnight frosts possible."
