A man was battered with a weapon outside Ibrox stadium sparking a police investigation.
The 24-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries after he was attacked on Sunday, March 7 at around 5.15pm on Edminston Drive.
He was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
The incident took place amid scenes of chaos as Rangers FC descended on the area surrounding their home ground.
Hoards of Covidiot football fans took to Ibrox and Glasgow's George Square after Steven Gerrard's side won the league for the first time in a decade.
Flares were set off and music blasted as the louts ignored coronavirus rules such as mask wearing and social distancing.
Police are urging anyone with information on the serious assault to come forward.
Detective Constable Stephen Findlay, of Police Scotland’s Glasgow CID unit, said: “Following extensive enquiries into this incident, we are appealing for information from members of the public to help trace those involved.
“The area would have been busy with football supporters at the time and we would encourage anyone with any information to come forward and speak to police.
“If anyone has any mobile phone footage that could assist with our enquiries, I would ask that you get in touch with officers.
“Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1404 of March 3."
