'We would cause havoc together!': Neymar reveals desire to play alongside Chelsea star Eden Hazard

Neymar has revealed his ambition to play alongside Chelsea star Eden Hazard at some point in his career.

Both players have been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid, with Hazard strongly tipped to leave for the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

The 28-year-old is stalling over whether to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge and, with his current deal set to expire in 2020, the Belgian could leave for a reduced fee this summer.

Reports in Spain continue to suggest PSG star Neymar could join him in the Spanish capital and the Brazilian admits he would relish the chance to play alongside Hazard.

“I would like to play with Hazard. He has a style similar to mine,” Neymar told Fox Sports.

“I think I could give it a try. We would cause havoc together!”

Neymar stunned the football world when he left Barcelona to join the French giants in a world-record €222 million (£191.6m) deal in 2017.

And he conceded it was a tough decision to leave Barca, revealing he even changed his mind about leaving the Catalan club at one point.

“I left because I wanted a new challenge, the challenge to win and find something new, to find new tests," he added.

“Barcelona is a club that has always fascinated me, and I still love it today. But at that time I wanted to try something new and that's why I decided to leave.

“It was very difficult to make that decision, there were even moments when I hesitated and asked not to leave. I was like that for about two weeks before deciding to go to Paris.”
