We wore just Oh Polly dresses for the party season and we are obsessed

Oh Polly is somewhere that I have never shopped from before.

The fashion online retailer stocks some incredibly luxurious looking dresses- so the thought of testing out some looks for the festive season was exciting to say the least.

I love a good dress purchase, but just like many women in their 30s.... I just don't get out as much, so spending a lot on something I'm only going to wear a couple of times is just never an option.

So, now I have been given the opportunity to work with an incredible brand- its given me the chance to see what all the fuss is about the quality of their dresses.

I have tried three of their latest releases- including one from their new Elixir collection.

Here are my thoughts.

Only up until a couple of months ago, the thought of putting on anything figure hugging made me squirm- but with dropping a stone and a half since lockdown made me pile on the pounds, I am now finally ready to wear some pretty, bodycon numbers.

I love the fit of this dress.

I am always conscious of my tummy- but the corset fit holds you in all the right places.

It also gives your bum great shape too with its ruched fabric.

One thing I will say is I felt a million dollars as soon as I put it on- and it could definitely pass as an occasional dress for a special event or a romantic date night.

The fabric is beautiful- and it feels nice and soft to the touch.

I have to say I would quite happily pay the £62 for this dress it certainly does feel luxurious.

Dress- £62

Rating- 5/5

This dress felt so playful.

I have thrown on a pair of heels, scrapped my hair back and it just felt such a fun one to wear.

The shape on the bust is stunning- and I love the fact it has this halterneck strap.

This is another great fabric which ruches on all of your curves so you don't feel as self conscious.

I feel like £58 is a great price for a perfectly structured dress with an asymmetric hem to make your legs look even longer

Rating: 5/5

I mean, this one would have been an absolute no go for me in the past.

It's VERY figure hugging and with it being quite a simple style and clinging fabric it really did cling to those curves.

But, I actually felt so good in it and felt like a slick hairstyle with this one really set it off

The Elixir collection is the most perfect party season range- and you can get this high sine stretch jersey dress in burgundy too.

For just £50 you can get this showstopping dress- and if you like playing it safe with black... at least it is a stylish silhouette different to any other regular LBD! (Little Black Dress for those who don't know!)

Rating: 5/5
