'We will catch you' Raging Fife farmer vows to tip lorry load of dung in fly tipper's shop

A raging Fife farmer has vowed to tip a lorry load of "dung" in a fly tipper's shop after his land was targeted for a second time.

Steve Mitchell, owner of The Buffalo Farm near Kirkcaldy, has hit out at the "ridiculous" fly tippers after finding a second pile of waste within just two weeks.

In a live Facebook video on Monday showing the rubbish, the farmer said he was "really peeved off again this morning."

He said: "Second week in a row, it's just so, so frustrating that someone thinks it's acceptable.

"It's ridiculous, it's a fellow business person quite clearly.

"We're going to go through it and hopefully we'll find an address this time, we didn't last time but a message to these people: we will catch you."

Explaining that it was "exactly the same culprit judging by the rubbish", he praised Fife Council for their response but vowed to take matters into his own hands.

He warned he would be dropping off a lorry load of buffalo at the shop of the person behind the fly tipping.

He said: "Do not be surprised when I turn up with a lorry load of Buffalo dung and put it in your shop because I'm absolutely raging.

"I'm not going to bother with the police, I'm not going to bother with the council, I'm bringing a load of buffalo dung and I'm tipping it in your shop.

"I will promise to keep my threat, there is a tractor coming to tip a load of dung at your shop.

"I don't care what the consequences are because you clearly have no respect for other people in the community, the countryside, wildlife, it's just so disrespectful", he added.
